It's that time of year again!
Some might say holiday season is right around the corner, but for me it’s already started. I love Christmas for the snow, the lights and the holiday spirit. Studies have shown that putting up your decorations in November makes you happier and so I have already started to bring out the lights. There’s something so comforting about hanging out with a warm fire, cozy pajamas, listening to holiday movies.
On my part, I love to do all my holiday shopping before the huge rush. I try to get it all done so that I can allow myself more fun holiday activities afterwards. So I decided to share with you some ideas for your nature lover friend, spouse or family member out there!
I feel as the years keep coming and going, it’s getting more difficult to get authentic gifts. And well, art is always fun, and unique. I have many prints and framed work that would be a great gift for anyone out there that loves nature.
This is the first year I decided to create a calendar. I wanted to create something totally different than the regular calendars we can find. I also wanted my calendars to keep that high end quality I I use on my prints and other products because it’s what I stand for. These 2019 calendars are made with a thick 100% recycled paper in which you can cut the month off afterwards and keep the print as a decoration. The wood stand is made by hand by the help of my husband, father and myself. I kept an unfinished texture to the wood to keep it’s authenticity.
I have a very limited quantity, so hurry up to order yours before it’s too late!
My photography prints is the most authentic thing I offer. It’s my essence, who I am as an artist, and one of the main reasons I love what I do so much. My nature prints are calming, and most of them are very localized. I try to document my own regions to inspire those to love the outdoors. Made from a high quality photo matte paper, they are professional, high quality to the point that you can actually picture yourself there. They are available in three different sizes, and I can also do custom sizing as well, just send me a detailed email on the print and size of choice.
If you have a little more budget, I also offer framed prints. This is a print of choice, with a frame of choice. The print is printed on the same high quality photo matte paper, and the frame is a simple wood frame available in different colors. They are professionally framed and ready to hang with a metal wire on the back.
If you’re looking for something with a great quality, but don’t necessarily have a big budget, I recommend my notebooks. Made from recycled paper, this thick paged notebooks are the best gift for any nature and creative lover out there. I love to draw, doodle, write and so I designed a notebook that had thick enough pages to be able to use a sharpie and markers. I also designed it to be unlined so that we can write, draw and let your imagination go wild!
Last but not least, if you’re looking for a cozy gift, my pillows are the best option. Canvas recycled material, they are soft, but give a rustic vibe to your home. Grab one and cozy up to it next to a warm fire and you’re set! The insert is included, and very easy maintenance. I don’t recommend to wash too much, but you can easily do so in cold water and hang to dry. Available in different prints, with all one thing in common: Nature.
And there you have it! Some great holiday gift ideas for every nature lover out there! Know that I also wrap all my products up in a recycled Kraft paper, so you don’t even need to worry about wrapping. It’s important for me to find ways to be a bit more eco-friendly, not all my products are 100% recyclable but I try my best to make an effort.
If you want to come and feel the products before buying, I will be at a couple of Christmas artisan fairs:
November 15th from 4pm to 8pm at Café White & Compagnie in Saint-Sauveur.
December 8th and 9th from 10am to 5pm at Summerlea Golf Club in the West Island.
