I wanted to write a story about my relationship with Alo and the process of having a service dog. I have been getting a lot of questions about it and it’s been overwhelming sometimes, so I decided to talk about my experience so far here, to share and hopefully enlighten some people about it.Read More
I've been quiet for the past few days since my return to the city. Not only via social media, but in my day to day mind. I guess we all deal from the trip blues differently and this time I am just re playing every single memory over and over.Read More
About a month ago, I set off on my first solo trip to Nicaragua principally to work on my surf photography. It was a full ten days of getting in the water with my camera and trying different lighting techniques and composition.Read More
A friend recently asked me about how I found my brand image and photography style.
That question seems to always pop up once in a while in my photography circle and it's a somewhat difficult question to answer because everyone has different views on art, branding and working as an entrepreneur.Read More
Nestled between Tremblant and la Conception you will find one of the coziest places to stay regardless of the season.
Normally New Years people head out to fancy parties and get all dolled up, but for someone who isn't much of a partier, I decided to ditch the city lights for the calm wilderness in the Laurentians.Read More
I can't believe 2016 is coming to an end, I feel like it was just yesterday when I was planning my 2016 goals.
It's a friendly reminder that time flies wayyyy too fast and that we need to dive deep in the moment and live every moment like if it was your last.Read More
''Let's go canoeing next weekend!''
I was starting to regret that idea Sunday morning when I started my car in -16 degrees weather.
Yes, winter is officially here, those cold Quebec days have just begun, and with the insomnia from the night before, going to Tremblant to go canoeing seemed like those dumb drunk ideas people come up with.Read More
My alarm went off this morning at 6am for me to get up, pack up my camera bag, grab the fiance and dog to head up north for a sunrise hike.
I contemplated in my bed looking at the ceiling as my eyes drifted shut about going out or not. My bed seemed way too cozy and it was still so dark out.
Lately I have been feeling very stressed and my mind has been going all over the place due to my exciting project that will be launching soon.
It's funny because every single minute of the day I go through ups and downs regarding my work.
This is a quite personal piece.
I don't really know where to start but I really had to get this off my chest.
A feeling of letting go of something that was so special to me. Not being able to talk to my closest friends and the feeling of being alone.Read More

I had my first official sleepless night as an entrepreneur Monday and I can officially tell myself:
Welcome to the entrepreneur life Alex!
After coming back from Hawaii, I've been quite busy with organizing myself and making sure to start things off on the right foot. With my big expo coming up (more details to come in September) I have experienced a little more stress than the usual and now that I am committing to my work 100%, well the stress grew a lot more.Read More

I have always been a huge fan on goal crushing and pursuing my dreams. My main vision in life is to love what you do and to work hard to pursue your passion. It's funny because this morning I read a small article on what type of career you should have regarding your astrological sign and I laughed when I read - Balance: Creativity.
With the cold I have (yes my boyfriend passed on his sickness to me), I kind of wish I was near the salt ocean water to clear my sinuses. But until then, I will content myself with kleenex and watching the mens Fiji pro on TV.Read More
